Her family fled communist Cuba and immigrated to this country in pursuit of civil liberties, freedoms and the “American Dream.” It was out of curiosity surrounding functional legal systems and a strong desire to help people that her legal career was born. Her drive and determination quickly proved her to be an effective litigator. Ms. Suarez speaks fluent Spanish and served 10 years as a Spanish-speaking public defender in Teaneck Municipal Court.
